翻訳業務や問い合わせ業務などにおいて確実なアウトプットを出すためにはネイティブレベルの言語能力が必要であり、そのために多くの部分は未だに人手に頼らざるを得ない。ただ、その部分を除けば依頼やアウトプットの提供などはある程度定型化ができる業務と言えるだろう。
Scaleはその部分に着目したスタートアップだ。ユーザはAPI経由でScaleに対して様々な業務を依頼することができる。テキスト起こしや翻訳業務、問い合わせなど複数の業務をフォーマットにしたがってAPIでCallすることにより依頼ができ、その回答も完成次第送られる。完了した作業については内部でのレビューを経て提供されるらしく、ある程度のクオリティは期待できそうだ。
