Pokemon Goの成功を見るまでもなくロケーションと連動したサービスは消費者にとっての魅力を出しやすく多くの事業者が試みたくなるものだ。しかしながら、そのロケーションを詳細に把握するためにはインフラへの投資が避けられない。Wifi Hotspotの設置やBeaconの設置はまさにその一つだ。
だが、Navisensはそういったインフラを必要とせず、ソフトウェアでの解決を試みている。Navisensが利用するのはユーザのスマホに備え付けのジャイロスコープや加速度計といったセンサーだ。
