Remote Yearはそんな問題を一挙に解消しようというプログラムを提唱している。Remote Yearのプログラムに応募すると、ノマドワーカーは一年間の旅費と宿泊費が支給され、更に仕事を獲得するためのガイダンスやリソースなどが提供されるため、最低月々$5,000の収入を得ながら旅をすることができるとのことだ。
どれぐらい柔軟性があり、仕事を確実に獲得することができるかについては記載がないが、2017年向けのプログラムが既に募集を開始しているので応募してみるのも一興だろう。
